This is the first time in last 7 years that Real Madrid gone past the Round of 16 and now they will be hoping to get another step towards the glory as they host Tottenham in the first leg of the Champions League
Real Madrid have been playing some real good football and they will be looking to get a good result in this tie and make it to the next round.
They have a manager who is very well aware of English Teams, as Jose Mourinho spent a few years with Chelsea and he will have his team well prepared for this big match.
This week, the first leg will take place at the Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid. This match promises a lot, with Tottenham having played exceptionally well in Europe this year, having knocked the 7 time European Champions AC Milan in the previous round.
In the previous round Real Madrid demolished Lyon 3-0 at home to put them through 4-1 on aggregate so if Tottenham aren’t careful here then they could be kissing goodbye to any hopes they have of reaching the semi final stage before the 2nd leg has even been played.
This match on the back of a very very impressive run so far in the Champions League. While Real Madrid are a team which are very commendable and they will be looking to go all the way this time and get their hands on the Champions League trophy but it is not going to be easy as they have Spurs who will be hoping to outclass them and get somthing out of this match.
